Does the hair velcro pull on my bio hair?

Hair Velcro is designed specifically for hair. It exerts equal pressure on hair while it sits, therefore it doesn't pull on hair the way traditional clips do.

For Brown GripAfix I Bands:

There may be some small areas on the invisible string with a bit of brown color. This is a normal occurrence from the manufacturing and dying process. It is undetectable and does not cause staining.

For maximum longevity of your GripAfix I Model, take care to handle the invisible string and small attached pieces with care.

How do I clean my wig grip?

Handwash both the velvet and silicone parts with only cold water and gentle detergent, and lay flat to dry. When you wash the silicone strip, it will remove grease and products that could affect its grip ability. Once washed, the grippiness should return.

Which model GripAfix is right for me?

The model you choose will depend on your specific needs and preferences. The Original GripAfix surrounds the entire circumference with flat velvet, perfect for under full wigs. It has two pieces of Hair Grippers on the top underside of the grip to grip to your bio hair on top of your head. The GripAfix I also has the two pieces of Hair Grippers on top and has invisible string in the back which reduces bulk and visibility significantly and can be adjusted very small or very large. It is perfect for toppers and has been highly recommended for those with flatter heads in the back or sensory issues. GripAfix S has a silicone strip on both sides and no Hair Grippers on the underside. This model is great for those with sensory issues or if completely bald. GripAfix V has two pieces of Hair Grippers, NO lace front and lace part, it can work equally well under skin top wigs and headscarves or other slippery headgear. GripAfix 360° has all the same features as Original GripAfix with one difference: it has 4 pieces of hair velcro grippers spanning the entire circumference of the wig grip. This grip is Extra!!! It can be good for those who want more security in the back of the head.

Helpful Tips for All GripAfix Models that Have Hair Grippers On Underside:

The hair velcro on the underside of the grip, is made specifically to grip onto hair in a different way than a clip. Clips pull up on hair, whereas the hair Velcro spreads equal pressure on hair, avoiding pulling while wearing.

When removing the grip, you can press on your hair directly in front of the grip while gently “peeling off”, lifting the hair velcro up and away.

Keep in mind, it may need a few days to “mold onto” your head and for your head to get used to it, the hair Velcro on the underside may feel itchy or just noticeable at first until you get accustomed to it, it’s worth waiting those few days, possibly wearing it for a just few hours at a time, like leather shoes that you break into for the great benefit!

Care instructions: Hand wash both velvet and silicone strip only with cold water and gentle detergent, lay flat to dry.

Does LaceStik leave a residue on the lace?

Depending on how much you use, it is possible for LaceStik to sometimes leave a clear residue on the underside of the lace. You can remove it very easily with a wet washcloth. You would either squeeze a drop of water onto the residue and gently rub in one direction until the residue quickly melts away or simply rub the wet washcloth gently in one direction to remove it. Residue removal is also demonstrated in the step by step tutorial.

How many hours does one LaceStik application last for?

LaceStik adhesion can last for several hours depending on the amount used.

Is LaceStik hypoallergenic?

Yes. LaceStik is hypoallergenic and latex free and suitable for sensitive skin.

LaceStik Care:

Give a quick rinse to the applicator tip after each use and dry well before closing with the cap to maintain freshness.

When will I receive my product?

All of our orders received by 4 pm on a business day, can be shipped out on the same business day. On high volume days, turnaround time can take up to 2 days. This excludes announced holidays and vacations when order fulfillment will resume one the office reopens.

Does the business name "Wig Guru" show in the return address on the package? I want to maintain my privacy.

No worries, we got you covered! The business name on the return address is very generic to maintain your privacy.

Can I have a refund/exchange?

At Wig Guru, for health reasons and hygiene, we don't normally accept refunds or exchanges. However, Contact Us directly, and we may be able to offer you solutions according to your individual case.

Return/Exchange Policy:

If we determine that your case is eligible, we must be notified within the first 3 days of your having received the item. Final Sale items are excluded from this policy. To be eligible for exchanges, items such as the Gripafix must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered and include all original packaging. Kindly note that the original shipping cost is non refundable.

We will accept exchanges once we receive the product with our shipping label we will send to you.

Shipping fees for an exchange may be billed to you depending on the circumstances of the individual case.

Please be aware that any return made to an address other than the one provided by Wig Guru, cannot be received by us and won't be eligible for a refund or exchange.

Please note: We provide measurements for the circumference of the grips and the stretch capacity of the adjustable elastic band beyond the widest circumference. Orders for a size that is wrong for you are not eligible for a return or exchange.
